Summer Maid
Hey there! I’m a health educator who loves weaving together brain science, health theory, mental health, and nutrition to help people feel more at home in their bodies—grounded, informed, and empowered. With a background in neuroscience, psychology, and nutritional therapy, I bring a whole-person approach to wellness. I’m a Certified Health Education Specialist and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and I love helping folks reconnect with their inner cues and relationship with food. I bring over 17 years of experience in the mental health field, dedicated to supporting individuals’ well-being and resilience, which often shape our health decisions. Whether I’m leading workshops, coaching one-on-one, or facilitating in the community, I focus on making health feel accessible, empowering, and nourishing—a journey that nurtures far beyond the plate.
Personally, I’m most at home in the outdoors—camping, backpacking, rafting, or jumping into a spontaneous game of tennis. I love having a camera in one hand and a travel bag in the other, chasing adventure wherever it leads. And when I’m not out exploring, you’ll find me on stage with my local improv troupe, Scam Likely, attempting to make people laugh.
